Lorraine began studying piano at five years old in the Suzuki method, and performed at Steinway Hall before her 13th birthday. She played clarinet and keyboard in her school orchestra, and expanded into guitar and bass guitar as a teenager. She briefly sang in her local church choir.

At University, Lorraine channelled her creative energy into the fine arts, in particular, drawing and photography. She has a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Southern California. In 2007, she founded the My World Project charity, which has taught peaceful conflict resolution and photography skills to hundreds of children in the Middle East, Europe, USA, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. She is passionate about empowering people in conflict areas through the arts via her philanthropy.

Upon moving to London, UK, Lorraine began working in finance. While her work environment during the day was very structured and highly analytical, music became her creative outlet in her free time. She bought a used acoustic Spanish guitar and began to reteach herself guitar after years of hiatus from music. Lorraine began songwriting as a way to express emotions, tell stories, and process all the ups and downs that life brings. In addition to sharing inspiring (or at least entertaining) stories, she wishes that her music brings others hope, faith, and comfort. She has produced many demos and is looking for opportunities to collaborate with producers and musicians on new and past songs.
